Sirhan Sirhan Speaks!

This past week marked the 48th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas, one of the most traumatic crises and conspiracies to ever plague American soil. During the anniversary, to everyone's surprise, the voice of Sirhan Sirhan, convicted assassin of Robert F. Kennedy, was heard from the West Coast. Sirhan's lawyers have presented their own conspiracy theory about what happened that day on June 5th, 1968.

They argue that there were at least two shooters involved in the assassination, and at least thirteen shots were fired. In fact, they claim that Sirhan's 1969 trial was fraud, because a substitute bullet was allowed as evidence rather than the real bullet that was pulled from Kennedy's neck, which Sirhan's legal team claims doesn't even fit the revolver found on Sirhan's waist when he was arrested. To make matters even worse, Sirhan's attorneys claim that Sirhan was hypnotized before the assassination to be a diversion for the real assassin. It wasn't until recently that David Brown of Harvard Medical school evaluated Sirhan to test the hypnosis. According to Brown, Sirhan just now remembers the assassination. Brown testifies that the day of the assassination, Sirhan thought he was at a gun range shooting at circular targets.

Confusing? I would say so. It's just another reminder of a common discouragement of life--we will never know the complete truth and we will never have all of the facts. Regardless if it's a Kennedy assassination or everyday concerns, the world sends a heavy fog over what's real and absolute. But, Jesus removes the fog and gives us encouragement when He says, "I am the way, I am the truth, and I am the life..." (John 14:6)

Do you believe Him? Follow His way, and see for yourself. It's as clear as crystal!
