A Mother's Power

Mothers shape us in one way or another. That’s why it’s so appropriate for us to celebrate and honor mothers on days such as these. However, their love and guidance can never be repaid, and our cards and flowers really don’t do justice for their existence; even so, Mothers Day equips us to do one thing—give honor to whom honor is due.

This Mother's Day is unlike any I’ve ever experienced. For the last six (almost seven) months, I’ve witnessed Natalie’s amazing motherly qualities and capabilities. I always knew she would be a great mother, that’s one reason why I was so attracted to her when we were dating; but, Natalie has surpassed any and all of my expectations. As her love grows for Hayden each day, my love grows for her.

With tear filled eyes, I can confidently say that Hayden is one of the luckiest babies to ever live. Natalie’s love for him will imprint a lasting mark of godliness in his life. And one day, when he is grown with his own children, he will remember his beautiful mother. Why? There is power in a mother.

Happy Mother’s Day!
